Copyright Procedures; quick and easy

The digital age of cyber publishing and intellectual property raises many questions about copyrighting. If you have never published anything in your life, you still hold the copyright. Unless you publish your work, how do you know that copyrights are in place? The copyright is not difficult or complicated, there is a quick and easy way to any copyright creative material you produce.

The copyright in the United States is very generous to the creators and owners of new works. Legal protection of copyright is in effect immediately and automatically to the establishment of an "original work of authorship" that is "fixed in any tangible medium of expression."

In other words, a copyright notice is not necessary for your work to comply with American law copyright. For example, when the authors, webmasters, amateur writers or anyone else submit materials of any kind for publishing, creative materials is automatically protected. No copyright notice is necessary to be legally binding.

The laws are so generous in the fact that the scribbled notes or mindlessly go while talking on the phone are regarded as copyrighted material, even if you wad it and throw in the trash at the end of the call. This does not mean that copyrighting should be taken lightly. There are significant benefits for legal aid are protected by copyright.

Copyrights can be given in whole or in part and must be accepted in writing. Details of this are way beyond the scope of this writing. All authors and publishers took part in agreements copyright or unconsciously.

Quick and Easy Copyright:
The copyright notice classic consists of 3 parts. The "copyright" or the copyright symbol, the year and the name of the copyright owner.

Copyright © 2006 [Your name or company]

To respect the law of copyright and copyrighted computer-generated any creative materials follow this formula. First, add the copyright notice as described above at the end of the document. When you have finished editing, save your document as a file.

Finally, print the complete document with the title or file name and the current date. Adjust these issues will be printed on your printer settings or use the header and footer options in your text editor. Optionally you can just type the title and date of your copyright notice manually.

The paper printout becomes your Master Document. This document must be protected at all costs because it is proof that you are the author of the document created.

Another way:
If your creative materials is fixed and on some physical medium other than the computer, your handwritten signature and the date is usually sufficient copyright protection until you can claim copyright.

Summary:
I know that the procedure described here seems too easy, but it is the procedure recommended by the US Copyright Office. This procedure is applicable in the short and will stand on its own in dispute. Remember that the date of origin is the key, and a hard copy adds considerable weight to property.
